Foundations — BCA & MCA

Completed a Bachelor's and Master's in Computer Applications at Pondicherry University, graduating as University Gold Medalist and Second Rank Holder, with early projects in authentication protocols and classification rule discovery.

2015 — 2019

Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering

Researched near-lossless image compression algorithms for continuous and discrete tone colour images at Pondicherry University, laying the foundation for a decade of work in image processing and compression.

2017 — 2019

Funded Researcher

Led a UGC–SERO funded project studying depression, anxiety, and stress among students through social media data mining — an early move toward applying AI to real-world, human-centred problems.

Data Mining for Depression, Anxiety & Stress Among Students

The project explored data mining and analytics techniques to assess Depression, Anxiety and Stress (DAS) among school and college students using social media data. Behavioural analysis, linguistic patterns and digital footprints were integrated with psychological assessment methods to support early mental health intervention.
